The design challenge

Sun n Sand, a 60+ year-old heritage brand, is renowned for its legacy of hospitality and its location near one of India’s most visited temples. The property required a complete landscape transformation that matched its reputation while adhering to tight timelines before the hotel’s reopening.

The challenge was dual — ensuring site readiness within a fixed deadline and delivering a landscape experience that reflected the brand’s timeless charm while meeting contemporary sustainability expectations.

Every design element was chosen to complement the property’s architectural legacy while introducing lush greenery that invited guests to linger longer.

By opening day, the transformed landscape became one of the most visited and photographed areas of the resort, turning what was once a transitional zone into a destination in itself.
